John Schiavo

John Schiavo is a professional ice and roller hockey player born and raised in East Patchogue, Long Island, New York. His early years focused heavily on roller hockey, where he began his professional playing career at just 15 years old in New York.

His dedication earned him invitations to the New York Islanders Rookie Camps in 2015 and 2016, launching his professional ice hockey career in the ECHL. On the roller side, Schiavo won gold at the IIHF Inline World Championships in 2017 and again at the World Roller Games in 2019 — both representing Team USA.

He also won an SPHL championship with the Huntsville Havoc in 2019. Schiavo has since gone on to serve as a skills coach with the PWHL's Minnesota Frost and co-founded Best Shift Hockey in Eagan, Minnesota, where he runs skating and skills development clinics for players of all ages, as well as hosting hockey skills clinics and camps all over the world.
