Kelly is the Founder and CEO of Best Shift Hockey, a family-focused hockey lifestyle brand and training company based in Eagan, Minnesota. After relocating to Minnesota and watching her kids take up the game at age four, Kelly left her corporate career to pursue a gap she identified in the market — quality hockey apparel and accessories designed with young athletes in mind. What started as a lifestyle brand built around athletes' passion for the game has grown into a comprehensive hockey development company, shaped in part by her partnership with professional hockey player and skills coach John Schiavo. Kelly's mission has always been to make the hockey experience better for the next generation than it was for those before — and that starts with the people behind the bench. Best Shift is built on a deliberate commitment to assembling coaches who not only excel in their craft, but who foster a positive, healthy culture that is genuinely rare in today's hockey landscape. From confidence and specialized skills to mobility, strength, mental health, and nutrition, Best Shift equips athletes at every level to thrive both on and off the ice.

Beyond hockey, Kelly is a passionate solo traveler and is dedicated to exposing her children to as many corners of the world as possible — a reflection of her belief that growth happens far beyond any rink. She also channels her entrepreneurial experience into mentoring and consulting for women looking to launch their own businesses or navigate meaningful pivots in their lives, both through formal programs and personal mentorship.
